Budget Increases

Student parents may request an adjusted Cost of Attendance to account for childcare and other dependent care expenses. The standard student budget may also be increased on a case-by-case basis for the following reasons: other dependent care expenses, the one-time purchase of a computer during a student’s education within the Contra Costa Community College District; special educational expenses for students with disabilities; certain vocational programs that require equipment, tools, uniforms, or supplies. Inquire with your campus Financial Aid office if you have these expenses. Verification may be required. Please note that no increases will be approved for less than half-time budgets.
