Shawn Kammerer is an Assistant Professor and Construction Program Lead at Diablo Valley College, Pleasant Hill, where he also serves as the Pre-Apprenticeship and Apprenticeship Programs Coordinator.
He is a licensed contractor with over 20 years of experience in finish carpentry, focusing on the restoration, preservation, and fabrication of windows and doors in historic architecture across California and the United States. Since 2016, he has been a member of Artistic License, a guild of restoration artisans dedicated to the preservation of historic architecture in the San Francisco Bay Area.
