Through our Student Technology Loan Program, currently registered students can borrow a:
- Calculator (Graphing or Scientific)
- Chromebook
- Headphones
- Webcam
- Wi-Fi hotspot

For a faster check-out, complete the Student Technology Loan Form prior to coming to campus to borrow equipment.
Responsibilities
Students are responsible for borrowed equipment, including costs associated with theft, loss and/or damage. Technology loans must be returned at the end of every semester and cannot be renewed.
Available Software
Student Chromebooks are installed with these apps and extensions:
- Adobe Acrobat Reader
- Adobe Fill & Sign
- Chrome Canvas
- Chrome Remote Desktop
- Kurzweil 3000
- Screencast
- Proctorio
Student Chromebooks can access these online (cloud-based) apps:
- Google: Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Gmail, etc.
- Microsoft: Word Online, Excel Online, Powerpoint Online, OneDrive, Outlook, etc.
Zoom
Students are not permitted to download apps or extensions to DVC-owned Chromebooks. If you need a specific software app to complete your coursework, contact your instructor or department to find out which campus computer labs have equipment with that software installed.

Pick-Ups and Returns
A photo ID (ex: DVC Student ID, Passport or Driver's License) is required to pick-up equipment. For pick-ups and returns, come to: Pleasant Hill Campus: Library, 2nd floor, Circulation/Front Desk (closest parking is Lot 3) or San Ramon Campus: Library, Help Desk. Please check Library hours before arriving.
